Community Outreach Program

We are here. Travelers Exchange Club is parted with American Red Cross. We will be donating 10 percent of our processes until we hit our goal of $25,000. Hurricane Irma had devastating impact on our state and in our community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone effected by this destructive storm. Flooding, power outages, and wind damage can be seen throughout Florida, and challenge us all. Many of our most vulnerable citizens; the elderly, the chronically ill, the homeless, and low-income households, are wondering how they will recover without the resources they need.

Travelers Exchange Club Irma Relief Program

Hurricane Irma is one of the strongest storms ever measured in the Atlantic and has caused catastrophic damage. This fund will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. All donations to this fund will exclusively support any necessary relief and recovery efforts from this storm in the US and Caribbean.

Each year, the American Red Cross immediately responds to nearly 64,000 disasters around the country— from home fires to tornadoes and severe winter weather, hurricanes and floods to transportation accidents and explosions. The Red Cross not only provides food, shelter and clothing, but also offers comfort and care to help those affected by disaster during their time of greatest need. Members of our Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) and Disaster Responder Program pre-invest in disaster relief, ensuring the Red Cross can pre-position supplies, secure shelters, maintain vehicles and train volunteers nationwide, so we’re always ready to respond, day and night. This support also means we can remain on hand to assist people as they recover and help become better prepared for the next disaster.

We understand our donations may not be enough to help everyone. If you would like to make an additional donation then please click the button below to be directed to the American Red Cross. Thank you for all your help and prayers.
